BAXTER

Project Overview

Due to the generous donation of a Baxter lab robot, the team spent some time pre-COVID developing programs to run on Baxter. This robot is a ~5ft robot with 2 arms, grippers, cameras, and an assortment of other sensors. It runs on the Robotic Operating System (ROS). The team pursued a variety of projects, such as waving when it recognized a face, and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Development was halted due to the pandemic, but we hope to pursue this work again someday.
